Say 'I do' to sea glass place cards! The glass has been tumbled which gives it the appearance of sea glass with rounded edges and frosted surfaces. These place cards are blank and can be customized with paint pen or vinyl lettering.

Hi, I'm Trisha! I'm the founder of Tumble Works. Working out of my home in Southern Alberta, I break and tumble glass to create (faux) sea glass. The tumbling process mimics the action of ocean waves and gives the glass rounded edges and frosted surfaces.

Writing on Sea Glass

How do I write on sea glass?

Most paint pens work well for lettering on sea glass and are a beginner friendly option. Pointed pen calligraphy is another fantastic option for those with the skill for it. If hand lettering isn't your thing, you might consider cutting the names from vinyl using a vinyl cutter such as Cricut or Silhouette.

The sea glass is beautiful and each piece is large enough for me to write the longest name on

Tumbleworks was my third try in receiving sea glass place cards for my upcoming wedding. The first 2 may have been a little less expensive but they arrived
in packaging that did nothing to protect them and the pieces, either because of that or by design, were too small to fit a name on. The package from Tumbleworks was extremely well wrapped and boxed and it does not feel like anything broke--I have not unwrapped the second bundle yet as I wanted to protect them until needed. The sea glass is beautiful and as promised each piece is large enough for me to write the longest name on my list on. Well worth the extra money spent. I wish I had ordered these first and saved myself a whole lot of hassles.

Best sea glass for calligraphy!

Trisha makes the best sea glass pieces! I have used her sea glass for many customers and always get rave reviews. I write in pointed pen calligraphy on them and it is such a smooth surface that all my ink choices never have an issue. The colors are always exactly as advertised and arrive safe and sound with no cracks. They also take sealant well if you want to add a coat of varnish for protection, it’s never visible or sticky on the surface. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!
